Do we need a sound system?

Our instruments are all acoustic. It is a very warm, natural sound, but is not very loud. The natural volume of the instruments carries well for an outdoor area of approx. 40 ft. x 40 ft. if people are seated and quiet

Can we take care of it?

We are glad to provide an excellent sound system at your request. Our system is tailored to what we do and we are very familiar with it. It is compact enough for small venues but has plenty of power for large ballrooms and outdoor settings. We provide elevated main speakers for the audience and stage monitors for the band. All instruments and vocals are mixed for balance and reinforced to a comfortable listening level. We allow 2-3 hours for load in, set up, tuning the system to the area and sound check. We will have a clean stage and background music playing for guests when they arrive. All we need is a standard electrical outlet near the stage. We have a four-wheel dolly which makes load-in a smooth process. Please let us know in advance if there are more than a few steps between the load-in area and the stage.

What do we carry for the sound system?

Do we offer stage lighting?

Yes, we can provide a lighting rig for the band, if needed. It consists of 4 Chauvet VW par lights. We use 2 for a warm white wash and 2 for some nice color. It's a nice touch indoors or after the sun goes down. Set up takes about 30 min.

How much space do we need?

We can work best in an area at least 8 x 16 feet. A stage with a solid, smooth surface is ideal.

Do we need to take breaks?

Typically, for a 4 hour event we'll take three 15 minute breaks. We'll play recorded music on our breaks for continuous music. If we will be on site for more than 5 hours, please advise us if food will be available. Thanks!
