We love to perform for many types of events. In addition to bluegrass shows, we frequently provide live music for private functions and corporate clients. A few recent clients include: Subway, Inc., Aramark Corp, LifePoint Hospitals, Grain Craft Corporation, Passport America, Video Gaming Technologies, Higher Education User Group, Harry Norman Realtors, and Keystone Financial Services.
Last year we were added to the roster of Prime Source Entertainment in Nashville, TN. Prime Source Productions is a booking agency and event production company that specializes in turn-key event production, corporate events, conventions and private functions.
A few highlights from this past year included the Boy Scouts of America 2014 National Meeting at the Gaylord-Opryland Hotel in Nashville. We performed on the main stage before the new CEO addressed the audience for the first time. Here are a couple pictures from the show.

Also, we provided music for many other private functions including an event on the beach of the Atlantic Ocean for Hanel Storage Systems at a resort in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Wow, that was fun! Last December we backed Justin Rivers (from “The Voice”) at a Christmas event in Bowling Green, KY. Jennifer really enjoyed singing with Justin. See more photos for these shows and other events on our website.
Of course, we loved playing for bluegrass shows! Highlights include the Covered Bridge Festival in Marysville, OH, Renaissance Center in Dickson, TN, Caruthersville Area Arts Council in Caruthersville, MO, Joe C. Davis Outdoor Center overlooking Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, TN (where we are based), Possum in the Park festival in Glen Saint Mary, FL, Sounds of Dumont festival in Scottsville, KY, Carter Family Memorial Center (with the McLain Family Band) in Hiltons, VA, and an outdoor festival in Dallas City, IL.

It airs on over 180 Public Television outlets across the United States. Please check your local listings for broadcast times. We shared the evening with bluegrass pioneer, Ralph Stanley.

Teaching Hiatus
As we start this new chapter for our band, one is wrapping up for now. This is the first time in thirteen years that Michael will not be part of the faculty at Belmont University in Nashville! It was an honor to teach many talented guitar majors, banjo and mandolin students, graduate students, and other bluegrasser’s. He remembers having Josh Turner for banjo lessons when Josh was a student at Belmont. One day Josh walked in and said, “Hey, you’ve got to hear this new song I just wrote called the Long Black Train!”
